You wrote to me on the 27th June, about the

activities of the Hong Kong Eugenics League.

I am

of course unable here to check the statements in the

second paragraph of your letter and in the note which

you enclosed; but I am enquiring of theofficer

Administering the Government of Hong Kong whether the

League is in fact engaged in activities in South

China outside Hong Kong in breach of Chinese law.
